I love it when this gets going but a question for you all......... Why doesn't it go NS/WS/NS/ES/NS/WS/NS/ES etc?

And another thing......Why do the NS clap when the ES join in? It's very patronising, so please don't do it on Sunday. We can stand up for ourselves.

Why don't people stop complaining about what one stand does or doesn't do, and concentrate on creating an atmosphere, because if it carries on dropping like it is at the moment it will be like Withdean by the end of the season !

I've thought that too and the prob is that the order between the WS and ES hasn't been agreed ... so after NS who's the first to go? Maybe they can make announcement before the game so we all know

Yeah they won't now. I expect a memo will go around and they will all have to sign it to confirm they understand. Or you could text them.

"WE'RE THE LEFT SIDE, WE'RE THE LEFT SIDE, WE'RE THE LEFT SIDE BRIGHTON BOYS!" - Favourite song; capable of producing great volume. Would like to sing it more if possible!

The East Stand have no part to play in that song. They chose the quiet stand, so please respect that and read your books, do the knitting and drink some bovril.

Thanks.

My hubby works on a Saturday so I take the kids to the football - both my little girl whose 6 and myself join in - as long as it creates the atmosphere I don't mind.

Because .... although I have a bit of a sing, I am more interested in the game than the order in which songs are breaking out in other areas.

I despise this chant. At the Donny match about four lads in the row in front of me in the West stand stood up to reply "We're the West Stand.. etc" at just the moment we were desparately trying to clear our lines from a Doncaster attack. Absolutely no way were they watching the game because they were all turned sideways looking at the North Stand. Bl**dy Plonkers.

 yeah right!
Look it is not hard, east stand sing with the north stand (they need a little help anyway) but sing east instead of north. This is not difficult, I do not expect to see anymore on the subject.:ascarf:

I'm in the East stand and I quite like getting a little clap whenever we chirp up. We also try to time it to fill in when the West stand starts waning.

True - never heard anything coming from the east stand and I'm in N1A. Also, it's abit over sensitive to feel patronised by some encouraging clapping.
