Got to agree there mate was a great second half. The first try showed the determination and couarage that this England team have. With perhaps the greatest player in the world in the shape of Jonny Wilkinson we have a real chance at this.

COME ON ENGLAND

Swing low sweet chariot......

i have got to say, it was an average first half against a very spirited and for once clean (ish) South Africa side. We deserved the win but i honestly dont know what we will do if/when Jonny Wilkinson gets injured!

people seem to think if he gets injuried we would be completly screwed however we have a very good teamwho could deal with out him if need be.

yeah but look at the points hes scored, he scored 20 points and will greenwood got 5. Against the allblack in newzealand, he saved the team with his brilliant kicking in terribly windy conditions

We have got other players who would get at least 75% of his kicks though, so unless there were only 2 or 3 points in it, we would be fine!:clap2:

Two teams that are superb at defending will always make for a very tense game.

Well done England a fantastic victory - just saw the try as we left the pub for the ground.

Impressed with England, they really ground out a result.

I think Wilkinson is a long way from being the greatest player in the world though. Best place kicker, without a shadow of a doubt but SA showed up his limitations as playmaker. Mind you, he was a hell of a lot better than the clown that the Yarpies had.

That was a big win for England - always pleased to see them beat the nazi thugs.
