The legend returns with a competent display - catching has improved as well.

Kuipers had little to do today but made made a couple of good saves. I still think there's nothing to choose between him & Roberts. Loyalty to the FDM is influencing peoples' opinions too much, I think!

Roberts has been a bit wobbly lately, so I was chuffed to see the FDM back between the sticks. Caught everything, was totally commanding, and another great save from point blank range in the first. He nearly crushed Cullip in the second half when he fell on him. Several hundred lbs of Dutch Marine falling on you from a great height - Danny did well to walk away from that.

:D

It was a good solid display from Kuipers today. He commanded his area well, and bossed the back four as loudly as ever. I thought his kicking and catching were solid. Only had to make a couple of saves during the game, including one superb close range stop in the first half. A good performance which could help see him keep the goalies jersey for a while once Roberts is fit.
