It did, he's clearly got the nous some players are lucky to have, plus having not played much recently he looked fresh and energetic.
The number is times he’s come up with a late equaliser is an excellent quality to have, off the top of my head that’s the fourth time I can remember him doing it.
He only gets (literally) six goals a season but that’s okay if they are securing points.

Showed tonight what we’ve been missing. Pace, strength, great at holding the ball - Palace defenders were really struggling to contain him.
Doesn’t score very often, but they all seem to be critical goals.

So many things to love in that clip, not only the header, immediately after Welbeck waving his team mates back quickly to half way, Welbeck clearly wanted to go on and win it.
Then just watched the clip on the last replay about 10x, from about 28 seconds, to look at the Palace fans behind goal reactions...... Santa bottom right with head in hands, quite a few behind goal head in hands, under cover Nuno Espirito Santo with the white baseball cap standing up!!
