What's the worst weather you have experienced?

Winds reached 80 mph in Valparaiso, 74 mph in Gary, 70 mph in Kouts, 60 mph in Rensselaer, 52 mph in Lansing and 43 mph at Midway.

Gary is the home town of Michael Jackson.

2021 in the Pacific North West was pretty crazy.

In June, we were hit with an unprecedented heatwave with temperatures hitting 49.6°C (121°F) in the city, and up to 55°C (131°F) in the interior. The wildfires that season were crazy, an estimated 10,000 square kilometers were lost in BC alone to fires, including many historic towns completely wiped off the face of the earth apart from some remaining stone chimneys and twisted metal cars.

Then four months later, we were hit with floods which cut Vancouver off from the rest of Canada. We had 277mm (11inch) of rain fall in 24 hours.

When I lived in the UK it has to be the great storm October 1987.
My first full winter (2021) in Estonia 🇪🇪 we had waist deep snow on a few occasions. Temperatures down to -28c and we didn't see the ground from mid November until late March

So when he was visiting, did people say "Michael's in Gary again."

Done a Frexit, now in London
Coldest was -30c with a windchill making it feel like -40c in Canada. But I'd rather be there in that weather than when I was in London on that +40c day we had 2 or 3 summers ago 🥵

41 degrees here, for several days. Only time ever experienced climate-anxiety, and won’t be the last probably. Horrific. Scary.

In truth most of the Jackson family will tell you Michael didn't enjoy his time in Indiana mostly due to his father, Joe Jackson, may they both R.I.P. There weren't a lot of visits. Most of the visits were to old friends of the older Jackson children.
