Presumably he is costing the club a hell of a lot of money while he is banged up? I'd bet a substantial amount (if I had a substantial amount) that there will be clauses in his contract that the club will carry on paying his wages......

Saw a report earlier in the week that said he won't do time as jail sentences in Spain that are under one year are usually served on parole. Assume that is still the case unless something has changed
