people werent actually voting on who they loved though, which would also suggest we are a team that nobody could give a toss about beating

I suspect dislike of Leeds has nothing to do with Revie and everything to do with Bates:lolol:

Has for me, I used to quite like them. I'm a Bates stalker I also disliked Chelsea more when he was there and had started to dislike Sheff Weds as well :D

I really enjoyed watching Leeds do well in Europe not so long ago.

Very disappointed not see the Scum in the 20 most hated clubs

I reckon Jeff Stelling's support of Hartlepool has put them so high in the loved clubs list. Who can't feel for him as he announces yet another defeat on Sky Sports News every Saturday

I am absolutely sure you are right. I felt found myself quite liking Leeds when Graham and O'Leary managed them. But that disappeared when the hateful Bates took over. His "f*** everyone else" attitude and appointment of the poison toady as manager make them easy to hate.

As has been pointed out though, the whole thing is flawed if the Croydon shite aren't hated more than the likes of Scunny, Burnley and Stockport.

I hate:

Palace (of course. But have met some very nice fans though. They do love their club)
ManUre (I really, really, really, really hate them, their fans, what they stand for, commentators creaming themselves over them, everything)
Leeds (scum. Just scum)
Chelski (money can't buy you class. Boring team flash wanker fans)
Tottenham (ooh, we're a big club! No you're not. You're about the same as West Ham)
Ipswich (I got beaten up by them when we got relegated at their ground early 90s)
Millwall (If Darwin is right then Millwall MUST be the missing link)
Celtic (The scummiest most depraved fans I have ever had the misfortune to come across. Add to that the sectarianism and IRA songs...)
Charlton (Let's poach other teams fans. How effing DARE you try to offer people from Sussex cheap coach travel to your shitty ground. Sussex is Albion. End of)
Newcastle (Best fans in the world? Funny, when we went there when they were in the old Div 3 (or 2?) they had a less than half full ground and the Albion must have taken 2,000)
Watford (I really don't know why though!)
Blackburn (bunch of kicking, hoofing cheats)

I'm differing shades of ambivalence to the rest.

The way I read it is that we are the fifth least hated club in the country, surely this is more an indication of ambivalence towards us rather than almost universal love.

How did Walsall manage to pip us for 4th place ? how many grounds have they lost and how many dodgy chairmen have they had to cope with ?

And something to do with their fans, I would've thought ???

And they're professional northerners. Let's not forget that. They're not like us civilised southerners with our proper diction, lack of accent and general all round civility.
