So why bother playing them? Another strange team selection and a shocking first half performance. It didn't need to be this way, we could have got three points today but decide to play Painter and Dicker who are 1st division at best.

Were they selected just to prove a point?

Great comeback by the Albion in the second half and I suppose we all left feeling quite happy with the outcome. Shame we didn't start with a stronger line up a bag the three points...

I think the selection definately highlighted the weeknesses in our squad, whether this was intentional or not, only Gus knows, but i suspect Tony Bloom is only too aware that he needs to get the chequebook out this summer

There may well have been a chance with the Birmingham and Barnsley matches if they were dead-rubbers to decide whether to keep Navarro, Dicker, Painter but not when there was still a realistic chance of the play-offs. I couldn't understand it on Saturday and neither tonight. It's very frustrating.

The point is neither I or you know why ...also whether that first half would have been any different is also just guess....but yes we fought back well to draw with a team in form
