On the terraces!!
How did W.Henderson do for us yesterday?

He kept a clean sheet against a good side so that is great - i hope we can keep him on a longer deal as i think the stabilty between him and the defence will strengthen with more games!

wherever the money is
He is in the team of the day in NOTW so must have done something right.

If he is to stay we will have to sign him permanently, and as we have the French bloke for a year, can we afford three senior keepers, plus the two boys?

He had one dodgy Ben Roberts moment which almost cost us a goal, and his handling still doesn't inspire me with confidence.

But he kept a clean sheet, which is what we all wanted.

What fatboy said but the dive at a player's feet a few feet out impressed me as very brave and he got the ball without bringing the player down.

 The boy looks to be finally coming good for us i would imagine that we will simply extend his loan as the fdm will probably be back around christmas time.

Friday's Argus said there was a problem regarding Henderson stopping until Christmas.
If you come on loan for one month you can only extend it by two further months.
He wants to be signed permanently.

Oh yes, that was a great piece of goalkeeping.

If the defence and Henderson are now beginning to work well together, then we should try to keep him for longer... we cannot afford to lose more points while our defence is learning to work with Chaigneau in the absence of the FDM...

With FDM current record of injury's i think it's a good idea to get another No.1 in.

Im not sating REPLACE FDM,just finaly get some decent cover in for him so we dont have to shit ourselves when he get's injured.

Surely Michel will be back after Henderson's 3-month loan period expires?

Well as Henderson is playing right now, I hope we don't lose sight of Blayney along the south coast. I reckon he would be devastated at how the Saints are holding him non-playing prisoner and will want away by the end of the season. It's effectively wasted a whole year of his playing career.

I agree.
Maybe we can get him in January? Somehow I don't think we can keep Henderson.

Henderson has a 1-month deal only...

Also, the Insider's response to a question raised re Blayney suggested we are now unlikely to go for Blayney (unfortunately)...

Why can't we keep Henderson?... he would be cheaper than Blayney in terms of transfer fee and, probably, wages...

Not sure why? He is classed as a Prem keeper whereas Blayney is a Championship one.

We could sign Henderson on a perm deal in the next couple of days... likewise, Blayney (but that is unlikely, IMHO)...

Also, there is no guarantee that FDM will be back in the next two months (unfortunately)... he was supposed to be ready for pre-season according to earlier club statements...

How do you know Villa wouldn't pull the same things as Saints? It's not a good sign they didn't want him cup-tied, is it?

Re. Blayney - I wasn't suggesting an early move for him but simply that his contract with Saints expires this season. I would hope come January when we are allowed to talk to him without Saints' permission, we will explore that avenue.
