He is injured for the trip up to Grimsby so it looks like we are lumbered with jones.......

Unless he decides to play Harding.....For once

Both Jones and Watto have seen better days.... Please let's give Harding an extended run in the side. Can we not look to the future instead of the past?

And at Leicester pre season.

We're quite clearly not going to go up this year so I wish he would clear out all these players and play the youth team.

It makes no difference whether we finish 7th or 17th.

The likes of Harding, El Abd, Hammond, will benefit from the experience and at least it will give us the opportunity to discover whether they are good enough or whether they will join Will Packham at Worthing.

The likes of Oatway, Watson, Jones etc-as much as we appreciate them for their contributions to our championships-are no longer good enough and it is time for a change.

It is a a weak point in our team. I am a JONES fan but he has been poor pretty much all season and Harding didnt do bad against Oldham when he came on.

He has been given least chance out of everyone.

Agreed 100%. And I'd add Mayo to that list as well. Let's at least give some of the youngsters a chance. They can't do much worse than several members of our senior squad of late.

But the higher we finish the more money we will receive and hopefully if we get into the playoffs we can make a bit there too

Still well in with a shout for the play offs, not over yet.So we have to keep going for it.Can't throw in the towel yet.If or when we can't make the play offs that is when to give all the youngsters ago, until then we still have to play our strongest side,if that includes Jones,Oatway,Watson,Mayo ? then so be it.

Spot on. I'd be happy to play the youth team for the rest of the season if we were drifting in mid-table mediocrity with no hope of anything. As it is, we're still in with a good chance of ending up in the play-offs (some f***ing how) so have to go with the best team for now, and the best team at the moment is still with the likes of Mayo and Jones.

However, I fully expect McGhee to execute an Adams-style clearout in the summer, seeing the likes of Watson, Jones, Oatway, Butters and possibly even Mayo, Hart and Chippy leave.

Then McGhee will bring his own men in, and then we'll start to see a bit more from the youth side.

We are in the Nationwide Division Two.

I shouldn't think the difference in prize money between 7th and 17th amounts to much more than a handful coppers and a few teabags.

But in our current situation plus.....worst case senario, Falmer is rejected..we will need all our tea bags

Haven't you been asked to supply the tea for half time against B,mouth ???????????
And they had enough coppers to spare us a few at Luton Tuesday

You're probably right Safeway. I don't think anyone doubts that we need some fresh blood and for me it can't come soon enough.

Here's to the summer clearout.
