Was our cup victory over the richest club in the world better than our away win over Crystal Palace?

As I wasn't at the away win at Palace no, but generally Yes, I'd take a win over Palace every time.

I don't think anything would compare to us beating our bitter rivals at there ground. Unless we beat Man United or Arsenal at Old Trafford or the Emirates
respectively.

I really dont care about the City result, if it gives the players a lift for league games then its obviously a good thing but generally not bothered. Buzzing on the night because it was a good result but can we all move on.

When we won at Palace, I was in Cozumel. Mexico, talking to the Captain of my ship on the bridge wing. My phone rang, & on the other end of the line was complete bedlam. Through this noise I could just make out my mate Stubbsy shouting, "We f***ing done it, we beat the cun*s!"

Now I did feel homesick the other night when I saw the result, but nothing can compare to how I felt when I got that call.

Very close, but the sheer joy of that Palace victory lives on. Watching McShane put through his own goal brought it all back as I watched MOTD last night.

I think the advantage the Man City win had was the national recognition and therefore the interest it brought from non Seagulls supporters. Non Brighton fans never understand why beating Palace is such a big deal.

In sheer excitement terms and the circumstances obviously it did, however in overall terms of supporting a club, then beating a rival is special.
