Blades close in on Horsfield

West Bromwich Albion striker Geoff Horsfield is on the verge of joining Championship promotion contenders Sheffield United on loan.

Horsfield has struggled to earn a regular place since the opening week of the season when he scored four goals in two matches.

It is understood the former Fulham player will move to Bramall Lane with a view to signing a permanent deal in the summer.

But Horsfield's departure will not go through until Kanu and Diomansy Kamara return from African Nations Cup duty.

Where have you got 10 from?

Webber (injured)
Kabba
Shipperly (not a 90 minute player)
Deane (not a 90 minute player)
Akinbyi
Dyer (back up until the end of the season)

Are you all talking about that fat bloke Neil Shipperley, who Palace released when they went to the Prem?
Fancy Danny Webber myself.
What about having Reid, (another fat bloke) who used to bang 'em in for Forest and now languishing at Spurs, on loan?

No wonder we are finding it hard signing a striker, Sheffield United are signing all of them.

Shipperly or Webber would suit us perfectly. Maybe even both!
