Hi just wondering if any one had any dealings with the duel fuel petrol/lpg semi high top transit 53 plate as looking at purchasing an ex council one in an attempt to cut the running costs down for my business Thanks Paul
I was looking at getting a duel fuel van the other week but after a bit of research and a few words here and there i was told, dont touch them, its not much better than a diesel and it will need numerous visits to the garage and the costings work out dearer than a diesel at the end of it
So I went Diesel, thats my honest opinion but no doubt some one will say different on here !!
We investigated and ended up with a lwb high top diesel 52 plate which we knew we could get serviced cheaper than the lpg. Mileage wasn't that much worse and although we've now sold it - it didn't blink an eye through about 40,000 miles and usually towing up to 2 ton. Was sad to see it go...
