Seriously though, aside from the people i have included in my slightly tongue in cheek poll right there (i knew you luddites didn't like garage) there are some very talented musicians that have come out of the garage scene in this country. People like Dj Zinc, MJ Cole, Dizzee Rascal, Ed Case, The Streets, Tubby T all make some very interesting and alternative music that should be given a chance. I defy anybody not to have liked Sincere by MJ Cole especially.

I'll stop now.

In my defence, I was left unsupervised.

I like The Streets. I also like Audio Bullies, they are good.

Ah the Streets, now you're talking! Other dance music genres I like are fast trance, ambient hardcore, old skool garage, hip-hop breakbeat and, er, foxtrots.

Zinc is more Drum n Bass as is Ed Case, or am I thinking of Ed rush?

The streets arent really uk garage, in fact its hard to define them as any one genre.

MJ Cole was an old skool boy and I agree has made some quality tunage but hard to pigeon hole him with what today gets called uk garage.

Dizzee, dont believe the hype!!!!

Zinc has made some quality garage on his bingo beats label

Ed rush drum'n'bass but a quality producer none the less.

BTW my definition of uk garage is garage music made in the uk and i think mj cole fits into that.

UK Garage is by far and away the worst music on the planet. Although US Garage isn't far behind. I just cannot stand Garage music in any way.

And I can't stand The Streets either. I don't care how good you think his lyrics are, if you're gonna make them sound like that it's a pile of shite.

However sarcastic your post was Dwayne, I'd rather listen to Norah Jones than anyone on the poll list.
