Sussex Cricket Board 20 over Cricket Comp! 29 August 2004

20-over cricket returns to the County Ground, Hove on Sunday 29th August when the Sussex Cricket Board will be staging its inaugural Club 20/20 Finals Day.

Two semi-finals will be followed by a Floodlit Grand Final.

As a prelude to a countywide launch in 2005, four teams will be converging on Hove to compete to be Sussex's first ever Club 20/20 Champions.

The semi-finals are:
12:30pm Crawley Eagles CC vs West Sussex League XI
3:45pm Crowhurst Park CC vs Littlehampton, Clapham & Patching CC
7:00pm The Final

Admission is free, and all are welcome.

Preston Nomads Cricket Day- Preston Nomads Cricket Club

An invitation to watch and enjoy “The Spen Cama Memorial Trophy” at Preston Nomads Cricket Club on Sunday 29th August 2004 on both our North and South grounds.

A 20/20 competition between:
The Professional Cricket Association Masters XI
The MCC Young Professionals XI
A Sussex County Cricket Club XI
Preston Nomads XI

Not only will you be able to watch players from SCCC, but International cricketers from the Professional Cricketers' Association Masters team and some future stars from the MCC – to play against our current First Team.

With the first 20/20 game commencing at 11.30am a Barbeque will be provided at a very reasonable cost for all spectators if they wish to eat and the pavilion bar will be open all day to provide alcoholic and soft refreshments.

Players that will be representing the PCA will be Roland Butcher, Peter Such, Alan Wells, Vince Wells, Steve Marsh, David Ward, Bill Athey, Chris Lewis, Rob Bailey. Also come along to support Keith Greenfield in his benefit year who has kindly provided a Sussex County Cricket Club side to participate .
