Turner not happy

Sheffield Wednesday boss Chris Turner was fuming after his side's defeat at Brighton and has warned he is ready to ring the changes at the Hillsborough club.
The Owls were beaten 2-0 at the Withdean Stadium after losing 1-0 to Bournemouth in midweek and Turner is now ready to wield the axe through his squad.

"I'm ashamed of both performances and the supporters deserve more for what they're paying," he said.

"When I see the players go out like that I feel as though some of them are stealing a living. That's not good enough.

Actions speak louder than words and there will certainly be actions in the next seven days

Sheffield Wednesday manager Chris Turner

"I come out of here thinking that, on today's performance, we haven't got a team that is capable of rolling its sleeves up for 46 games a season."

Asked about making changes to his playing staff, Turner added: "Without saying yes, I think major decisions have to be taken regarding the squad of players that we have.

"Those decisions will be taken in due course regarding where we move onto.

"It could be the kick up the backside everyone needs and it could be the eye opener I need as a manager.

"Actions speak louder than words and there will certainly be actions in the next seven days."

Hmmm.....we won because we were the better team, but they played bloody well
