About £40, fresh would probably be better.

Fresh every time, superior taste and no loss of weight which occurs when the frozen bird thaws out,no idea of cost but doubt if there will be much in it if you shop at the main supermarkets.

According to Marco Pierre White on Radio Sussex if a turkey either fresh or frozen is dry it is completely down to the manner in which it has been cooked and not the bird. He said the bird should be disected before cooking and the thighs/legs cooked for longer and seperately from the breast/crown.

This morning, Christmas Eve, at 11.00am Tesco in Burgess Hill were selling all their fresh turkeys at reduced prices £30 reuced to £15. £24 reducedf to £10. a good bargain for anybody who took the chance and waited or had a large freezer to fill up.
