he was just a serial hoofer.

surprised to be honest as I thought that for us he was one of our better defenders at passing the ball.

I was more concerned at his occasional loss of concentration and tendency to be very slow breaking out of defence

I really like him as a Centre back and was shocked when he lost his place in the Albion defence. When he went on loan Gus suggested it was for experience and that he would be back here for next year, I hope this is the case as I think he could have a long and commanding presence in the side

I hope that he comes back having learnt when to attack the ball as a defender and not let it bounce every time thus allowing the striker to get a poke at it. That was his biggest failing but will only come through him gaining experience
