Have had snails in Belgium, with a mustard sauce, however you dress them up it is still like eating elastic bands.

Perhaps we could have a competition to see who has eaten the strangest things. I will start you off with guinea pig, a bit like chicken but greasier and with very little meat on it.

Crocodile is surprisingly nice, I had that in Malawi and Cuba.

Cuy was an unusual choice, but tasted a lot like chicken.

It is Guinea Pig to you and I.

That is pretty much what I had, cuy al horno, or roasted guinea pig. Apparently they flatten it between two stones and roast it that way.

Quite tasty if you can get past the 'I had one of these when I was a kid'. I watched them pluck one of the kitchen floor and break its neck. :nono:

Haven't knowingly eaten Llama, had the guinea pig in a place called Arequipa in Peru, never kept one as a pet though.

I've just had a Cheeky Chicken. Christ knows what the meat actually was, but it was quite nice. Plenty of mayo.

Did a similar sort of thing at a Japanese Tea restaurant in Tokyo.

When I asked what we were eating, the advice was to not ask, especially the white jelly stuff which exploded in my mouth when swallowing.

Turned out to be a sac of fish sperm. :nono: :nono:

I read that human flesh tastes like chicken too.

I only tried Marmite for the first time last year. Now I love the stuff.
