Thought I'd put something in here to pay tribute to the backroom staff who have given us some quality players coming through the youth ranks. It is a testament to them and more importantly to the club.

Look at who we've come through the ranks for the last few seasons....

Hinshe, El-Abd. Harding, Virgo, Hammond, McPhee, Robinson, Lynch (even though he sat on the bench) and that old stalwart Mayo.

It is great to give youth a chance rather than buying a cheap foreign alternative (no offence Alexis, you ARE quality).

Well, with two present England U21 players, there does seem to be some good prospects for the future. I just hope we can keep hold of them before they sign a professional contract aka Gareth Barry.

I am all for homegrown talent no matter what club we all support.

It's amazing that we could field a team of Sussex born players (as in the programme)
