Deep Rising is a bit of a cult classic. Hair is a classic. Phantom a personal guilty pleasure. May not have achieved global superstardom, but was in a decent number of notable movies (including an uncredited appearance in the Empire Strikes Back!).

Is there not a specialist obituary site, where you can go and pay your respects? It seems to be something of an obsession.
Never heard of him, don't recognise him from his picture, but sorry for your loss and all that.
Obituary threads are pretty much standard on NSC - why worry about them? In many cases, such as this one, I've never heard of the person concerned so I ignore the thread and don't contribute to it. No worries, no hardship. Sometimes I'll google out of curiousity, but that's it.

If the deceased is known to some, and they want to give them an RIP, fine, go right ahead.

Thanks for being the person worrying about the person worrying about the thread (y)

I always liked him. To be fair his work was mainly B movie and Hallmark TV style stuff but I rated him.

And I don’t care how this sounds, I am weirdly pleased to see “motorcycle accident” rather than “long battle with cancer” as cause of death. Too much of that. Weird, I know.

RIP TW.

RIP Benny Serevide.

I only knew him from Chicago Fire, though I'm sure I would recognise him in a few other things if I checked his IMDB.
