Leeds are waiting to pounce if Ashley Barnes decides not to join Burnley
Albion striker Ashley Barnes is at the centre of a tug-of-war for his services with two Championship rivals.
Leeds manager Brian McDermott has confirmed their interest in snatching Barnes from under the noses of Burnley.
McDermott, speaking earlier today, said: "We have an interest. Another club are talking to him but we have an interest at this stage."
Burnley boss Sean Dyche said earlier this afternoon that Barnes was undergoing a medical at Turf Moor.
It is unclear whether the outgoing Albion marksman is intent on completing the move or whether there could be a late change of plan.
