I would award them around zero for skill and effort.

Piss poor I think the managed to string together 4 passes at one point and how many poor returned passes went out.

What the hell do they do in training ?

Worst team I've seen this season, the first half looked like a training game.

If you're shit and down the bottom the very least you need to do is fight hard and put a shift in. Tranmere didn't even get close to that. Even when they did win the ball they gave it straight back to us, the rest of the time they were just strolling round the pitch looking disinterested.

I thought Exeter were poor, but in a sort of gallant, not-quite-good-enough-for-this-league way.

Whereas Tranmere not only lacked skill, but also, shamefully, any
suggestion of heart, effort or graft. They gave the impression they just couldn't be arsed. I saw a few of their fans applauding their players- I have no idea why. They should have been booed off the pitch.

i think we need to credit OUR TEAM a bit more often

we keep seeing these 'they were shit' threads when we beat an inferior team. but we make them look that way. remember when we were struggling and these games were 50/50? beginning of the season?

so stop finding lame reasons to start a thread, pretending to have a novel and critical opinion and admit that albion are looking f***ing THREATENING and that we are looking a SWEET TEAM with much reason for optimism.

hey i'm sorry but since gus has had his chance to make an impact, we give every 'leading' team in the division a good run for their money (and often win) and we DISMANTLE the poorer teams.

wake up and smell the victory gentlemen, and let the good times roll :rave:

Certainly the worst team we've seen at home this season. They were as woeful going forward as Exeter, and that's saying something.

Tranmere are the second worst team I've seen at Withdean this season.

In terms of effort, workrate and closing down, they were pathetic. Gave up after the first goal.

Damn we were good though.

They were absolutely poor for the whole game, every time they did go forward they would pass it where no-one was. Worse team I've seen at Withdean for a long time

Thought their number 5 was well decent.

And a couple of stunning saves by the keeper at the end stopped the score being 5-0.

Exeter were FAR worse.

Was away for the Exeter game, but couldn't believe my mates saying Exeter were worse than Tranmere. Favourite moment today was when Benny casually nipped in from behind one of their defenders to nick the ball as it rolled to him, he could easily have run on to if he'd had one shout of "man on". I'm just about capable of doing that on a Sunday morning, and I'm usually drunk.
