You will have to get two 20 poinds vouchers and have to book it today as you need to book at least seven days in advance.

Looked at them this morning but it still works out cheaper going via Kings Cross Thameslink.

Probably Kings Cross, which is next to Euston, and also a five minute (if that) walk from Kings Cross Thameslink meaning you don't have to pay extra for underground tickets.

I have no idea what this means as I am pissed now and I was probably pissed when I wrote it, but this is what I sent those on our trip:

Looking at the below calculations it is cheaper to get 4 tickets for £20 and then one with a YP card, and 4 return tube tickets than us all buying individual tickets.

This means we are tied to Southern trains going through Victoria.

However, thetrainline is showing returns from Brighton to KX for £8.25 each so we may as well do that and go via KXT.

You need to get the 6.37 Brighton to KX getting to HH at 6.58.

WITH four4one
4 for 1 - £20
4 x tube return @ £3.90 - £15.60
1 x travelcard - £13.85

=£9.89 each

WITHOUT four4one
2 x travel card @ £13.85 - £27.70
3 x travel card @ £15.20 - £45.60

=£14.66 eachLooking at the below calculations it is cheaper to get 4 tickets for £20 and then one with a YP card, and 4 return tube tickets than us all buying individual tickets.

Someone has told you wrong.

They are valid on Southern Railway only to Victoria - Ipswich means travelling on via Liverpool Street on "One" Railway.

If you are talking Sunderland away you need to get a train from Kings Cross to Newcastle NOT Euston

Are u sure BH, not sure about Ipswich but I thought that we used them all the way to Watford. I could be mistaken though.

Watford is on the Southern line so the tickets are valid.

Southern runs the east and west coast, and from Brighton up to London Victoria and the Brighton to Watford line.

You can only use 4 for 1 as far as London Victoria for Sunderland. You'll then have to buy underground tickets at £4 each. You may as well go to Kings Cross Thameslink and walk across the road to Kings Cross.

For Ipswich you can use your network card as far as Maningtree which is the stop beforehand. This does not enable you to get 4 for 1 though.
