is it possible to find train prices online?

from any place in a country, to another. not just with the same rail company.

thanks.

The Virgin Trains website provides timetable and pricing information for all train journeys, not just Virgin services. They can sell you the tickets as well.

For some journeys, it's worth checking if special offers are available from the train operator. This particularly applies to journeys that start or finish in one of the big cities, or where a change in London is required.

Once you've identified the train operator (say, from the Virgin site), track down a phone number from this website

Is there anything you don't know Lord B?
In fact, I've come to the conclusion that when I enter something into Google, it's you on the other end frantically sending the links back to me! :lolol:

I would also advise that you try and book your tickets as far in advance as possible to get discounts. Also if travelling on Virgin look for Virgin Value fares where you buy a singlew in each direction instead of a return at reduced rates.
