Traffic Warning A23 blocked at Handcross

I had to nip out for a moment in the car and the A23 southbound is blocked by two fallen trees as per the traffic bulletin given out on Radio 2.

I know some of you travel home that way.

The rain is also starting to flood some of the roads.

Now passable with care but queues going back to the services (2-3 miles?)
