Christian Walton suffered a tough comeback from injury as Albion under-21s lost 4-0 at home to Derby County today.
The England under-21 goalkeeper was beaten four times in a ten-minute spell as Mason Bennett and Spanish wide boy Ivan Calero ran riot.
Bennett scored twice and set up a tap-in for centre-forward Offrande Zanzala at Albion’s training base in Lancing.
The keeper, playing his first game for the club since returning from a loan stint at Bury and recovering from a groin injury, made two saves from Bennett low down.
He also shrugged off a blow to ankle or lower leg suffered when fouled by Zanzala, who was booked.
