Do any of the slightly older generation remember this guy playing for us ?

He's slightly before my time but would be about 44 years of age now i believe, played for us in the early eighties i think just before the Cup Final maybe ?
A Centre Half ?

I think he played a couple of games but wasn't quite good enough and thus ended up playing in Sweden I believe.

played for crawley town against us in fa cup not sure where he went to after that was at centre half

Yes, you're quite right. Crawley lost 5-0 in my memory serves me right.

Well he's still playing...hes coming along to training tonight !
Im sure even at 45 if hes fit he can cope with Mid Sussex League Football !

Yes, I remember him. I thought I remembered him on the wing though; and looked him up in Carder/Harris. In Albion a-z he is listed as being a defender but on his one starting performance (against Coventry, won 4-1: I went but remmeber nothng of it) he wore number 11; not yer traditional defender's number.
