I remember when Tony came to power 7 years ago. Walking down Downing Street with flag waving Brits all around with big smiles, he was the 2nd Messiah wasn't he. He was the answer to all our troubles after 18 years rule by the evil Tories.
My father a life long Tory hater had tears in his eyes.
