Apologies if fixtures, but wanted to place mine and Harty Jnr’s thanks to our chairman for going above and beyond to help get us and 36 other Albion fans to the game last night.

A near 4 hour delay to our 11.10 flight from Heathrow yesterday, on which Tony was a passenger along with his Uncle Ray, put all of our attendances at the game in jeopardy. But even before we finally left West London shortly before 3pm, Tony had put plans in place for the club to provide us all with a coach at Marseilles Airport, the club then arranged a fast track ticket pick up before we got a Police escort to the game, we all eventually got to the ground around 35 minutes in and all witnessed the Albion comeback.

He did what he did because he’s ‘Tony’, you wouldn’t get Boehley or the Glaziers doing anything like that

Thank you again Mr Bloom 👍⚽

Impressive. Something which has been worrying me, what did you all do with your luggage if you went straight to the ground?

If he was that clever he would’ve arranged the tickets to be delivered to the ground to avoid the extra time going to La Joliette!

(Joking) we wouldn’t be there if it wasn’t for him.
Top man.

I think this is disgussting. Are you sure this is our Tony we are talking about here? Because our Tony would have got PBOBE to climb into the control tower and directed them to arrange priority passage for the flight. He would then have sold a player to Chelsea, purchased a new plane and piloted it himself.

Was there a "do you know who I am?" moment when he asked to use the PA on the plane I want to know?

Always amazed that 'our Tony' travels to away games by public transport (train or plane) when he could easily afford his own private jet or helicopter, or be chauffeured.

Another example of what a remarkably down-to-earth guy he is, and how privileged we are to have him as our chairman.

Seems he isn't really Superman after all then . . . oh well that's another dream gone.

We once had a nice chat with him on Retford station, changing trains back from some northern ground or other.

What a guy. We are so lucky to have him.

You realise the plan would have had plenty of parachutes? A proper chairman would have arranged a delay to the match so people could drop into the stadium and then get their seats

Was there an in coach drinks service between the airport and stadium? Disgraceful if not.

Unfortunately Mr B UEFA put the kybosh on that, we still had to go to La Joilette as some non Albion officials based there had to get on the bus and scan our tickets once we’d got them, don’t know what the rationale to it all was. 🤷‍♂️

Just hope Amsterdam and Athens will be a bit smoother, going on the Wednesday 👍😂
