He's a young lad coming through the ranks at the rate the youth team are SUPPOSED to come through the ranks. It's more than a tad disgraceful that DK has chucked most of the youth team into the deep end / front line. I know its desperate times and desperate measures, but even so, DK is taking the piss bigtime and seriously undermining the confidence and growth potential of some outstanding youngsters. T. Elphick will do OK IMHO. Given a proper stepping up through the ranks.

I was quite pleased with Elphick. We had a young(ish) back line against a Donny team that were bypassing our midfield everytime. He did well in the air and made a few nice tackles. Not bad FOR HIS FIRST FULL START!

I heard a rumour, and you know all about rumours ,that DW had a clause in his contract which gave him a bonus for each youth team player who played in the first team.

I do not know if it is true or not but this season has left me wondering.
