The corner quietly rusting
Do you mind if I point out it is illegal to throw anything at a football match which is why you no longer see toilet rolls.

Some fans at Villa Park were arrested, charged and appeared in court for chucking celery up in the air as the players ran out.

I would advise against it personally.

Painfully so. It was also pointlessly shiny on one side.

We can't throw that at games though, they come in industrial sized rolls and we'd run the risk of knocking the goalkeeper unconscious.

I was just thinking about that marvin,
I can just see the The Argus Headlines now

"Group of Drunken 40 year olds arrested at Middlesboro for mindless misuse of Toilet rolls"

Mr Prescott has decided ,on Police advice to install just B- Days at Falmer!

Come to think of it, I have a feeling someone was nicked for throwing a jelly baby a couple of years ago. I think it was at Blackpool.

Maybe we won't throw them then. Just drape them attractively across the seats, a la those huge streamers you see at Italian and Spanish games. Just hope it doesn't rain....

You need a tail of at least 1 meter, making sure the roll is dry and hasnt been used before.
Proceed to launch at an angle of 45 degrees and stand well back.

Launch into the air with a slight bit of backspin on the said roll and admire as it sails majestically into the air.

Or how about we only throw them within the stand?

I'm sure the law must relate only to throwing items on the pitch. I didn't see any Sheffield Wednesday fans nicked at the weekend for flinging that highly dangerous beach ball around their little stand....

Or we could bowl the aforementioned rolls. There is a significant difference between "bowling" and "throwing", as James Kirtley will testify.

"no officer, I didn't throw it, I bowled it"

I was educated in the art in the 70s it used to be handed down from generation to generation.
I was just getting my two boys into the basic skills and they went and sold The Goldstone on us,mind you they were only 7 and 8 at the time!
But once we went to Gillingham it all went tits up!
