David: I tamed wild ABI

LITTLE Britain star David Walliams claimed last night he had TAMED his sexy girlfriend Abi Titmuss.
In a rare interview, David, 32, told The Sun how porn TV presenter Abi now prefers cosy nights in with him to wild clubbing.
He said: “We lead a pretty quiet life these days. We don’t go to many places. We try to stay in and lead as normal a life as possible. In general, I prefer to be anonymous.”

He started dating blonde Abi, 28, two months ago after spotting her at a movie premiere. He went on: “I’ve got lots of things I could go to, I get invited out a lot.
“But although it’s fun to go to an awards ceremony or whatever now and again, I don’t like to do it too often.
“And when I do, it’s with Matt, and I’m there with my Little Britain head on.
“I like the fact my Little Britain characters are well known but I don’t want to be well known myself or as part of a ‘celebrity couple’, so we tend to avoid that sort of thing and go somewhere local or stay in.”
Abi, seen left, became famous for her four-in-a-bed romps while the lover of ex-Blue Peter presenter John Leslie — and is a self-confessed party animal.
But David, who has described himself as “clean-living”, hit back at critics who warn he and Abi make an odd couple and will not last.
He said: “I’ve never really understood that. What’s an ‘unlikely couple’? Who am I supposed to go out with? People feel they know me because of my Little Britain characters. But I’m not a Little Britain character. Nobody really knows what I’m like.
“Abi’s in the papers every day and people think they know all about her as well. But what goes on with the two of us is just between me and her.”
David has just finished filming a new Little Britain series with Matt, featuring favourite characters like transvestite Emily and The Hairdresser.
He also revealed he is still in touch with his ex-love Patsy Kensit. The pair dated for four months this year but split, apparently due to heavy workloads.
He said: “Patsy’s a good friend and we support each other. She came to the recording of the new series of Little Britain with her son James. It was his 12th birthday treat, he’s a big fan.”
But David refused to talk any more about his love life because he believes it is “ungentlemanly and indiscreet”.
