Well chaps. Saturday is creeping up on us all and it is now with a flutter of the heart and a sweaty palm that we look to International fixtures this week end.
England v Wales - probably not the big game of the weekend, but we'll be coming to the Hampden game shortly.
Lucky England seem to have had a master stroke of fortune (AGAIN) on their side as injury prevents Eriksson from making another calamitous cock-up by selecting Owen again.
The wee man has looked dreadful for two years but Eriksson seems to persist with him. Unfortunately for us Celts this means that Defoe andRooney are likely to partner each other up front, an d that is something even someone as one-eyed and anti England football as me would admit will probably be too much for the welsh to handle.
Mind you as the mighty Scots showed, keep a clean a sheet at home and you probably will turn over the overated bufoons at their place. Saturday could be interesting then.
For us, again the English jammy luck does not smile down us. Up against 7ft John Carew, Bertie sees 5 defenders missing, Dailly and Mackay among those, so thing could be tricky. everyone seems to be pointing to a draw, but I believe that this will be a home win and big start to our Road to germany tour.
See you all there!!
Lets hope McQuashie come on to form and shows that he is not a talentless dork from pompey who could not hit vanessa Feltz' arse with a tuba.
I'm sure that all you fine football fans on NSC will be looking forward to A SCotland win and not spen too much time crying into your beer as Giggs shows you what quality really means.
