I've heard that there will be loads of ticketless Coventry fans heading to Brighton and making a weekend of it.

lets hope they behave themselves.

Some lads I know from England games are coming down first thing tomorrow on a coach from the Midlands. Not sure how many of them have tickets, but they are generally just a bunch of piss heads.

Should fit in well then

What's the point in coming down without a ticket? Do they think Withdean is some kind of huge glorious stadium or we just say "all ticket" for a laugh and the stewards on the gate will say oh go on then, you can sit on the running track for a fiver.

I guess you come down on the off chance as you may pick a ticket up otherwise there are worse places than Brighton to be on a Saturday. The lads I know on the coach have tickets, not sure about the others on there.

Anyway I have been to places like Liechenstein without a ticket and got it sorted.

To be honest if I wasn't a Brighton fan and I lived up north somewhere, one of the first fixtures I would look for would be Brighton away, ticket or not I would still go and make a weekend of it with my mates.

You can still drink with all the other fans with tickets before the game and after.

To me the pre match and post match drinking with fellow fans make up the best parts of the day with the match itself only part of that.

Still would prefer to have a ticket though and watch the match if for anything it gives you a chance to sober up until you start drinking again!!

I suppose they might think that as the Home end hasn't sold out, that they'll pop into the Ticket Office, and pick up some Tickets in the wrong end.

Chelsea used to have about 1000 fans go to all ticket games without tickets knowing the local police would tell the club to keep an area for them, and to let them in rather than have them roaming the streets. We did at the Goldstone. Unfortunately that cannot happen here now.
