Eleven home defeats in one season is our all-time record.
2005/06......W 4 D 8 L 11
2006/07......W 5 D 7 L 11
2008/09......W 6 D 6 L 11

Worst at Goldstone ( 1920 - 1997 )
1995/96......W 6 D 7 L 10

Worst at Gillingham ( 1997 - 1999 )
1997/98......W 3 D10 L10

1997/98 is the lowest home points total in history ( 19 ) so we have 6 games left to get 8 points and exceed this total.

consistent in recent years aren't we?

chances of promotion before falmer must be zero based on those stats and perhaps explains why GP is now adopting away tactics at home

It is utterly depressing watching the Albion at home.
Murray should be dropped at home or at least put on the bench. He hasn't scored at withdean all season. The excuses after every game are wearing thin. Perhaps change dressing room or take a coach ride around Sussex before kick off to get that away feeling?

With our away record in recent years, if we could repeat that next season we'd have every chance of making the play offs...

He is still the best striker we have at the club, our midfield need to push up and support him.

Ah, so you believe that changing manager yet again is the solution? :bla: :bla:

Fancy a side bet that Poyet is not Albion manager on the opening day at Falmer?

£100 to the REMF to the loser?

Just to give you a sporting chance, I'll let you off if Poyet flounces, as opposed to being sacked or leaving 'by mutual consent'. But then again, the cognoscenti are NEVER wrong

So, we're going to get four more wins and two more draws at home?

That way it will read:

2005/06......W 4 D 8 L 11
2006/07......W 5 D 7 L 11
2008/09......W 6 D 6 L 11
2009/19......W 7 D 5 L 11

Wow. Look how shit we've been over the last few seasons, and to think we used to talk about 'fortress Withdean!'. Still, got to look on the bright side; at least there's no chance of us suffering from 'new stadium syndrome' when we move to Falmer - our home record can scarcely get any worse!
