This past week, I have seen several examples:

* Nathan Jones talking in the Argus about being dropped last night and chatting it through with McGhee and his "agent".
* Alexis Nicolas and his "adviser" failing to agree terms with the club.
* Dan Harding's agent touting him to other clubs since he became an England U21 and stalling the contract signing.
* Danny Cullip's advisor is also rumoured to be trying to find him a big move at the end of the season.

I thought the club has stated a policy of not dealing with agents. Perhaps the term "advisor" gets round that stumbling block.

Stop poisoning our players minds you PARASITES!

I would think Harding deserves a payrise after his international selection, but he wants to stay with us.

the average footballer, it has to said, is not likly to be winning mastermind. Many players probably feel they need someone to ensure they are getting a fair deal, check theres no nasties in a contract and can construct a clear sentance for a press release.

I think there are agents and then there are agents. The parasites are those that deal with the big name players and take a cut of the transfer, often directly form the clubs involved. I think there place is even recognised by the FA/UEFA/FIFA after the debacel that was Anelka leaving Arsenal all those years ago (had two agents so both "had" to be paid as i recall). Other agents are more like you having a solicitor or accountant which the player pays for out of their pocket. This type of adviser i have no problem with.

I think the Albions policy relates to not paying agents fees themselves.
