It's a Hall of Shame dedicated to those songs where, at some point during the said ditty, there is an inexplicable key change - usually upward - clearly representing a lack of forethought in the songwriting process.

Sadly, both The Jam and The Who are guilty as charged. But the most shameful ones are 'Season in the Sun' (by both Terry Jacks and The Beach Boys), and 'I Try' by Gabrielle.

Go here to find out who is the the Hall of Shame

Any others which need to be added?

While some of those are well-deserved, I'm adamant the sudden key change can on occasion be a wonderful thing. In the right hands.
And, to take three, "Going Underground", "Cannonball" and "Sgt Pepper (reprise)" have been grievously maligned in that list.

Should probably add "I'll Stand By You" by The Pretenders, though.

Good band. Wonderful singer. Mawkish song. Embarrassing key-change.
