With only a week to go before the start of the World Cup, the time has come for me to put aside my own personal thoughts about Mr Capello, our system and most notably Heskey and give my full support to the England squad.

Only positive stuff from now on whoever is in our starting 11.

So come on ENGLAND, you can do it.

Bring us home that Golden trophy and make us all proud to be English.

Rubbish teams CAN win the World Cup.

Argentina 86 (apart from one bloke who I grudgingly admit was quite useful)
West Germany 90 were functional rather than actually good
France in 98 won it with no strikers
Not winners, but Germany had a piss-easy run to the Final in 2002 despite being utter toilet throughout
Italy in 2006 were hardly vintage, and got very lucky against the Aussies

You don't really have to be all that GOOD to win, as long as you're something like half decent. Luck is more of a factor imo.
