Went to see Neville Staple (ex Specials) last night. Played loads of Specials classics. Excellent Stuff

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Anyway, the news is that they will reform by next year. Expect a 'Greatest Hits' package, and a tour or Festival presence.

Is that good news? Could have seen in the last year (about a mile from me humble abode) Blondie, the Buzzcocks, a whole set of Eighties One Hit Wondaz. But didn't. The whole Two-Tone thing was a slightly suspect package first time around. The reunion, for one last pay-day, is probably best avoided. :nono:

Having been a young man round in 'ska revival' era, (albeit Madness were my fave & didn't really like Specials), I think you'll find The Specials were extremely popular & would do well on tour if they do get back together. Probably best avoid releasing singles though - most people of my (any?) age don't buy singles.
also, heard Blondie were pretty good on their last tour.
