Bugger!

I did my washing today. Had to wash my work shirts. I'm no good at ironing so I did a little trick i've been taught. Put the shirt in the dryer for five mins and then take it out and let it dry outside. It will then dry crease free. So i did. I hung up 3 of my shirts on the balcony.

The trouble is, its typhoon season in Japan. And its getting a little,er, blustery. Basically, the bloody wind has blown away my work shirts! :nono:

I have nothing to wear to work tomorrow...  :nono:

Sicky and Psyche in the same post. I like it. Atilla I challenge you to use that in a poem.

If it's that windy why don't you hang around the balcony for a while GNLF and maybe a shirt or two (maybe even one of yours) will fly past and you may be able to grab one.

just imagine:

news reporter: its bad new for florida the hurricane has really taken its toll on the main areas...BUT on a lighter note three work shirts flew in to florida today much to the florida crowds delight, the shirts colours pink purple and green are believed to have originated from tokyo before making the transatlantic flight to the area. they were greeted by screaming fans and one woman was hospitalised after fainting from the shock of it all.

ok maybe a bit too far....taxi:shootself

Its o.k!

I've found my best shirt!(from marks and sparks)...

It was blown from my balcony to the ledge over the appartment buildings front door. all i need now is to do some monkey style climbing using various balconys, window ledges etc and i can once again have something to wear to work.

Juan, I would love to use typhoon hostage shirts as a reason for not going to work. Unfortunately Japan has 100yen stores everywhere. These are similar to the 50p shops or quid shops that we have in England. Except that the 100yen stores are incredibly useful and have pretty much everything you could need in them...including shirts...
