Fair point, its a rich mans toy for now. But its a first addition. Once it gets copied by other manufacturers, the hybrid folding phone/tablet could well become the norm.

Agreed - we’ve had flip phones years ago, they were basically the first folding phones. Not saying it doesn’t look cool, mind.

Samsung are just one of many other manufacturers working on a foldable phone, it is not by any means a unique innovation. These have been in development for years. It just appears that Samsung may be first to commercially launch a product.
