I’m talking about their reaction. Grabbed the ball, minimal celebration and straight back to the half way line to restart. They were ready before us!
They knew they had us rocked and the crowd was turning at 2-1, our players looked shattered and our shape in midfield had collapsed.
When they got the second they could and probably should have got a winner, we looked dead on our feet and the change in atmosphere caused a negative feedback loop on the pitch.
That spell after their equaliser was as bad as we’ve been at home this season. We needed changes but with our injury crisis we have next to nothing on the bench.
