Since these guys left the scene British dance music has been rather stagnant, they kick-started the breakbeat scene is this country and a lot of people have them to thank for their success, every album a classic.

Babys got a temper was released ages ago. As far as i'm concerned they have left the scene. Howlett has been stalling in the new album for a while now and i am giving up hope of a comeback.

Lets hope so, they are too good to end it now.

Best live act i ever saw and what's more it was consistent, they never went off the boil when it came to their stage shows, marvellous.

Indeed, for some reason I have seen them live loads of times, from when they used to play the VW festivals right at the start till last year the best was at Glastonbury in 1997 thats was a mental show

The "Experience" album was immense. Proper tunes back in the day. "Music for the Jilted Generation" was also good, Poison, No Good, Voodoo People etc... but not a patch of "Death of the Prodigy Dancer" on the Experience album.

Fat of the Land was average, and the latest stuff is OK... but they should have stuck to raving.

Knebworth when they supported Oasis (My sister was too young to go on her own and my old man payed me to take her), Prodigy were class and Oasis were the obvious crapness!

First time I saw them was at the book of love rave in 92 I think and they were big time cheesers. All their Cds are indeed classics and the last time I saw them live at V98 I think they blew the place apart with a mental show.

Im confident they will come out with another album but Im not so sure itll be all that dancey anymore.

Funky Shit is a killer track!

I presume you're a rock fan more than I am, and I'm a dance bod more than you then?

Strangely, I'm a qualified guitar teacher rather than anything to do with dance music though...

Proves that the Prodigy are popular with many audiences!

Saw them in a small Cardiff club in 1990 (I think) around the time of "Charlie Says" when all the early rave anthems were coming out - Moby "Go" Rave Generator(generates the ecstacy in you), Altern8 and even the dreaded Two Unlimited were playing to the whistle blowing, Vic inhaler up nose crowd. Class.
