The problem is we're too honest

Do you know why the ref gave so many free kicks against us? Because English players don't feign injury enough. Take Rooney's injury, if that had been a foreigner they would have laid on the ground screaming for five minutes, Rooney just put his boot on and limped on for a bit.

So should we cheat like the foreigners do? Or should we maintain our moral superiority and only go 'ouch' when we're actually hurt?

PS - Sorry if anybody finds this a bit racist. Actually, no I'm not sorry at all. Foreigners cheat, by and large we don't. It's a fact. Deal with it.

I find that is the problem when we have referee's from a country that don't take into account the style of the English game.

It's the same when it comes to club competitions.

Probably true - Ronaldo went down screaming, looking longingly at the referee every time he was tackled, yet when Hargreaves went on a mazy five minutes from the end, he was clipped, yet tried to stay on his feet and ended up falling several steps later. A free kick in that position would have been threatening, yet our honesty counted against us. However, a decent referee would have pulled the game back and awarded the free kick anyway

well said Brovian . . .you need internationally proven officials that understand different nationalities style of play

generally northern European teams are fairly physical, but fair, and Southern europans are pansy panted f***ing great whoofters who mince about like fairies if you go within 10 yards of them, screaming, whingeing, diving and acting like Lawrence Olivier
