Great line floating around today - 'William and Harry are aware of the allegations'. I'll bet they are, manna from heaven for the socialist workers at St Andrews, not that there's too many of them up there.

Parenthood brings its share of awkward conversations - sitting them down and talking them through that one won't be easy.

Ha! I hope all you grovelling Royalist toadies who like nothing better than bowing and scraping and saying how 'marvellous' the Royal family are are enjoying this. I certainly am!

I guess in most circumstances you (Brovian) would be referring to me - however, despite what I think (and have laughed at!) about their behaviour (especially recent stuff about PoW) - I am still definitely in favour of the Monarchy rather than a presidency.

God forbid this country is ever a republic in the hands of the likes of Kinnock and Blair :nono:

So hypothetically speaking,

If you were the no2 (male) in a big company in marketing, and you found out that your personal assistant (male) had been raped by another employee (male), but you could not discipline (traditional, not safeway) said employee, because you had been caught by said employee being pleasured by your secretary (male), what would you do ?

I think i would go public and deny it all ???

The people I loathe are the usual suspect lickspittles who all 'defend' Prince Charles. That Sir Micheal Peat numpty is classic fawning material, he was head of accountants Peat Marwick (KPMG - may still be, even), got some grace and favour position after his firm audited the royal palaces, and the morphs into a toady of the first order from a hard-nosed businessman.

How the f*** can he say what Prince Charles does or doesn't do anyway? He hasn't got a clue what he gets up to behind closed doors. You can't say anything for certain about a man who's had a lifelong obsession with Camilla.

Too right Tooting. Did you see him on the news last night? " Oh I know the allegations are completely untrue" Er.. Ok, how...?

"Because Prince Charles told me"

Oh, Ok, then, all totally cleared up. End of story.

You wish Peat.

The corner quietly rusting
Read the press release it has a very telling passage (no pun intended)

"Prince Charles dismissed the allegation, insisting that the incident described did not take place."

Not that no incident had taken place but the incident described did not.

If being ungenerous one could say something did take place but not as described.

President Blair is indeed not a pleasant concept but don't confuse the two roles. When everybody thinks of a republic they automatically think of America where one man does everything. It's not the only model, my favorite is the Irish or French one where there is a President who's Head of State and a Prime Minister who does the day-to-day political stuff.

Sounds to me quite like old pressie Bill Clinton - what was his definition of sex with Miss Lewinsky? - or was it his definition of what wasn't sex?
