With Liverpool bringing in a great manager ansd Cisse, Chelsea relying on Maurinho to get them the league, United a wounded animal and Arseanl looking for more of the same the top four fight looks a goodie.

However I reckon the UEFA cup spots will be where the action is at.

Newcastle, Middlesborough, Birmingham, Charlton and Villa will all be contesting these spots. I reckon Villa could be a major surprise this year though.

They have signed Laursen and now Carlton Cole (season long loan) and with Solano fighting fit and a very solid midfiled i think they could even clinch a champions league place..

I, for one, am looking forward to watching it unfold.

Carlton Cole is the bigget lazy f***ing lanky piece of shit that has ever worn a Charlton shirt. Gald he f***ed off, never want to see him agian so he IMO he don't make Villa a good side!!

As for us I reckon we will finsih somewhere between 10th and 14th. It will be very hard to match last season IMO

Forgive me if I'm mis-reading your post, but you don't seem to like him very much Matt ?

Don't forget the new-found might of the beast-driven war machine that is Tottenham Hotspur! With Jaques "Mad Dog" Santini at the helm, the rest of the league had better stock up on nappies, and not just for pissing themselves laughing this time!

Yes he did!! But because we took him off when he was being lazy and doing f*** all he said he didn't ewant to come back. Hence totally ripped us off even more with the Par*er deal.

They still owe us something but I very much doubt we will get anything.

IMO he deserves all the shit he gets!!!

I agree - should be a good race for the title this year. I don't think Arsenal can possibly be as dominant this season as they were last year, although they will still be the team to beat IMHO.

As for the relegation battle... one place is already nailed-on, obviously, and I can't see how Norwich or West Brom are going to survive either. Everton and Man City will be piss-poor again, Blackburn I can see struggling, but I think the hardened battlers like Bolton and Southampton and everyone else will be safe enough with the likes of Norwich, West Brom and the Pikeys below them.

Sounds exciting...YOU CAN'T REALLY BE SUGGESTING THAT Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United will all be fighting for the top places in the league? Blimey, you heard it here first!

And the UEFA cup spots...being 'contested' by a majority of fairly good premiership teams?!?

I'm not slagging you of personally, but the premiershit is the same year in year out of total shyte.

We need to put stricter rules in regards to signing foreign players, that way we might see more ENGLISH stars playing well and more and more talent for ENGLAND to choose from.

If not, then why not stick the top four teams in a little league of their own so all the five year olds at school can support teams they live nowhere near and have no connections with. The we can have an open, exciting, english league. with english players all competing at a high level.
