Seeing the general apathy surrounding yet another 'teen with potential' singing.
Who from the other end of the spectrum will be arriving, in the summer?

I think we can fairly safely say The Lana will need replacing.
With Milner and Welbz being a push.

Sure Dunk, Veltman and Gross are our 'home grown' experience, but it's obvious the club also look for new voices to tutor the kids.

Nah I don't see that at all.

RB feels like a palace over the odds signing who quickly reverts back to the old days.

Top 6, Champions League experience, seems to be the criteria.

I don't think we'll sign another player like that.

March, Veltman, Gross, Dunk and Welbeck (and occasionally Milner) will be enough experience.

John Stones (would be good)
That's the kind thinking I couldn't do myself.
I was stuck on Virgil (what with us usually raiding Liverpool) but couldn't make it work on any level.

I’d like to bring in Nicolas Tagliafico to support Pervis at left-back and mentor our Argentinian teenagers. World cup winner and lots of European experience. But at 31 probably too young to be an oldie!

One of the first names on the team sheet for the PL champions. Yep, let's approach Pep, see what he thinks of the idea
Only 9 times this season, playing a full 90mins just 3 times.

Admittedly at only 29 he's probably not quite in the 'oldies' category just yet, but he does tick all the same boxes as our current crop.
Contracted until 2026, when, if he can still walk, he would be catnip to the club.

six feet beneath the moon...
jorginho on a free from arsenal? contract expiring, certainly has the experience. very slow, however

would also take a look at koke from atletico madrid. again, expiring contract, wants to stay at atletico but they currently won’t match his wage demands (may be tough for us too). but would be an unreal signing

Not quite?

He's likely to be starting today - in a PL championship-chasing team.

He's probably going to the Euros with England.

Oh, and he's said to be on £13m/year. :ROFLMAO:

Yep, as said probably a summer window too soon but definitely in the running further down the line.

Maybe Henderson will be disillusioned with Ajax by then, and it'll be time to welcome him back with open arms to the PL.

I am, of course, JOKING.
