An hour-and-a-half special will be shown over Christmas on BBC1, split into two 45 minute episodes over 2 evenings, according to Gervais on Jonathon Ross tonight.

Absolute nailed-on highlight of the entire Festive TV season, and probably the only thing (outside of live football) that I'll bother watching.

Marvellous scenes.

What about the highlights of us hiting 5 past Wycombe?

Yep, I think I may tune in for that. See the Albion driving Adams back to the bottle.

Was that in poor taste ? Tell me if I've crossed the line there.

I really am looking forward to the "Office" Xmas special.

The repeats of the original series are actually funnier second time round - seem to see more jokes than first time.

He didnt say it would be at Christmas - he just said there will be two more episodes.
Being as there has been no news of it being filmed, I would think it be highly unlikely to be this Christamas, hope Iam wrong though.

It is being shown on boxing day then concluding the following evening.

Incidently, gervais was offered a blank cheque by the BBC to do a third series but rejected it.

Christmas specials can be mixed but I’m looking forward to this one.

Agree with Exiled in Exeter. The last Only Fools were rubbish, but Gervais and Merchant want to keep quality rather than quantity as their yardstick.
