The NSC fund-raising meet-up - Monday, September 27th

I know some people wanted a weekend night but we had to move quickly to get anywhere at all at relatively short notice, so here's the plan:

Date: Monday, September 27th 2004.

Time: 7pm onwards (normal pub hours apply).

Location: Upstairs bar at The Prince Albert, Trafalgar Street, Brighton.

Purpose: To get pissed, meet fellow NSCers and hopefully raise a bit of cash for our beloved football club.

As yet there are no plans for any special guests or spacific events on the night, but that could all change.

What better way to end the day after lobbying the Government over Falmer than to get hammered in a room full of like-minded souls and raise some readies in the process?

Smilie time.....

Well done Safeway. Are you going to have some sort of 'voluntary' charge for admission? E.g. no fixed price but everyone gives what they can afford (or wants to give, free admission to the people who don't want to contribute)

Haven't really thought about it yet. I'm sure we could get a couple of people on the door with buckets and the same behind the bar (put in your change or something).

What would be better, and more fun, would be people willing to do stuff for money. Head shaving, lesbian kissing, lesbian shaving, that sort of thing.

Also going to try and organise a prize draw and/or an auction, so if any has anything they might want to donate as a prize, please get in touch.

Arse. Now I'm torn between

1) bringing my kids in their Albion shirts on the march - "the next generation want Falmer" etc etc

2) getting rat-arsed in the pub.

:(
both -they can carry you home afterwards :D

I know Lush has a fair way to go home but surely there is time to drop the kids back and then go to the meet up?

It will be intresting to see Ernest there. I might go now, finances depending and if, the entrance fee is not that much.

There is NO entrance fee. Nobody is forcing anyone to donate anything. Just turning up and supporting the cause is good enough.

Lush, bring the kids along and let them see you get PLASTERED. Tell them it'll be 'character building'. :lolol:
